A WORD OF THE RECTOR, REV. SYLIVESTER KATIKAZA.

For long time our church has been serving the community through spiritual care and social services. We've realized that it is our role to maintain provision of best education to the youths and those called for christian services in Tanzania. For that case the Seminary has expanded its services. In the recent years we've introduced Ordinary level secondary studies, Computer training and Diploma in theology. Our goal is to make Lusangi the centre of academic exellence within five years. We thank God that this institution has played a big role of preparing pastors and evangelists since it was established in 1959. It is a mining of spiritual prosperity and centre of evangelism. The staff and students has become the shining light of the Love of Christ. They always visiting those who in need especially the patients at the Moravian hospitals of Sikonge and Kidugalo. The pride of the church is the best performance of the students from this institution. On behalf of my church I thank all those who contributed to the erection and progress of this seminary. May the Lord God bless you all!

He chaired a school board met on 24th August,2010.  He said that the school is playing a recommendable role of preparing youths for further education and christian services in Tanzania. He was very hapy to meet with some graduates from Teofilo Kisanji University who are among the former students of Lusangi Seminary. The administrators of the seminary were very happy to host him as he  was conducting a seminar to Moravian priests and their wives from Sikonge Moravian church district!
